Participation as delegates to the ICMDA XVI World Congress is open to all graduates and students of medicine and dentistry and people working in disciplines closely associated with medicine and dentistry, along with their partners and other invited speakers and guests.

The preferred method of registration is electronic. Those who wish to attend the Congress should complete the registration form and submit it to the Congress Managers. Each registrant must complete a separate form

Please note that all persons intending to attend the Congress must register. Please read this website carefully before you complete your registration form. For your convenience, payment can be submitted through the website online or through bank transfer.

Definitions of registration fees :

Delegate : An attendee, speaker, author or any other person who wishes to attend the programme sessions of the World Congress from 21-26 August 2018.

Second Delegate : A spouse or partner of a delegate, who also wishes to attend programme sessions of the World Congress from 21-26 August 2018. A Second Delegate must be registered on the same registration form as a Delegate.

Student Registration : A current student who wishes to attend only the 21-23August 2018 Student and Junior Graduates Conference. A current student can be defined as a person studying medicine or dentistry or a discipline closely associated with medicine. Official proof of student status must be provided when registering.

Student Package : A current student who wishes to attend both the Student and Junior Graduates Conference and ICM DA XVI World Congress. Official proof of student status must be provided when registering to obtain the Student Package rate.

Junior Graduate Registration : A junior graduate who wishes to attend only the 21-23August Student and Junior Graduates Conference. A junior graduate can be defined as a person who has graduated from studying medicine or dentistry or a discipline closely associated with medicine within five years of the Congress being held. Official proof of graduation date must be provided when registering.

Junior Graduate Package : A junior graduate who wishes to attend both the Student and Junior Graduates Conference and ICMDA XVI World Congress. Official proof of graduation date must be provided when registering to obtain the Junior Graduate package rate.

Accompanying Person : A partner or spouse of a delegate who wishes only to attend the social functions associated with the Congress. A registration fee has not been provided for Accompanying Persons. However, any partner or spouse wishing to attend sessions should register under a second delegate registration.

Pre Congress Seminars (21-23 August) : Additional seminars that delegates may attend prior to the start of the main Congress. It is essential to book for these seminars with the Congress Managers. As there will be four seminar streams running concurrently, you can choose only one if you wish to attend.
Please note that it is not possible to attend both the Student conference and the Pre Congress Seminars as they are scheduled to run at the same time.

Registration Entitlements :

Delegate/Second Delegate/Developing Countries
The fee for these registrations entitles the participant to the following :

  • All official Congress Programme Sessions* om 11-16 July
  • Official Congress satchel and documentation including Programme Booklet and List of Participants
  • Teas and Meals from 22-August
  • Opening Ceremony 23 August
  • International Night
  • Accommodation cost is additional at the delegates expense, arranged at a subsidised rate by the organisers

Student and Junior Graduates
The fee for these registrations entitles the participant to the following :

  • Registration for the Student and Junior Graduates Conference
  • All meals, morning and afternoon teas and supper, commencing with the evening meal
  • Accommodation cost is additional at the delegates expense, arranged at a subsidised rate by the organisers
  • Budget dormitory accommodation is also available

Student and Junior Graduates Registration Package
The combined packages for the students and junior graduates include all the benefits of the registration for the Students and Junior Graduates Conference plus all entitlements under a delegate attending the ICMDA XVI World Congress from 21-26 August 2017.

Day Registrations

  • Morning and Afternoon Teas for the registered day
  • Lunch and Dinner for the registered day
  • Satchel containing delegate material

Children’s programme
A children's and crèche programme will be provided during the morning sessions of the Congress, subject to a minimum number of bookings for this service. Please complete section of the online registration form including the names and ages of children accompanying delegates who would attend such a programme. Please note, there would be a cost involved for all children. Further details will be distributed in April 2018.

NOTE : Registrations will not be processed or confirmed until payment is received in full.

Payment Mode :

Within India Payment may be made by personal cheque or credit card. Debitcard, Mastercard and Visa are the only credit cards accepted at the Congress. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ICMDA World Congress 2018. Cheques should be made payable to the ICMDA World Congress 2018

International Payments from overseas must be made by credit card or bank cheque in US Dollars only, drawn onKotak Bank, New Delhi India. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. For payments by direct transfer kindly provide the Conference Managers with the Transection ID, amount transferred and the registration details.

Acknowledgements Your registration and payment will be acknowledged in writing with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your submitted form.

You will not receive any further publications before the Congress. Your letter of acknowledgment will include any further advice necessary prior to your arrival at the Congress.

Cancellation and refund policy
Registration Fees Before 21st March 2018 will incur a $100.00 cancellation fee.
Before 21st May 2008 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
After May 2018 there will be no refund.
Accommodation Deposit is non-refundable at 21st April 2018
Tours Non-refundable at 21st April 2018
Note : Refund will be processed through same mode within 10 working days

Entrance to Congress
Each delegate of the Congress will receive a name badge on registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be worn to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions.
